goalmaxxing is an AI-assisted goal execution product operated by Tsimafei Launik, a sole proprietor registered in Poland, who acts as the data controller for personal data processed through the service.
Depending on how you use goalmaxxing, we collect:
Account and authentication data: email address where available, sign-in provider details, Apple account identifier, authentication tokens, and account timestamps.
Profile and settings data: username, timezone, reminder preferences, notification hour, and whether you choose to share goals in the social feed.
Goal and progress data: goals, milestones, tasks, completions, XP-related activity, energy balances, motivation entries, learning items, and similar progress state needed to run the app.
Guest mode data: temporary guest session token, onboarding answers, generated tasks or milestones, and other temporary session data before you create or merge into an account.
Subscription data: your subscription status and subscription event timestamps. Purchases are processed by Apple and our subscription management provider (RevenueCat); we receive purchase events and identifiers but never your payment card details.
Notification data: a device push token, if you enable notifications, so we can deliver reminders and weekly receipt notifications via Apple's push service.
Technical and security data: logs, request metadata, device or app diagnostics, and abuse-prevention signals.
We use personal data to provide and improve goalmaxxing, including account access, AI-generated next moves, task and milestone generation, social features, reminders, syncing your progress across sessions, debugging, security, and support.
goalmaxxing uses AI models to generate product outputs such as next tasks, milestone suggestions, motivations, learnings, and related planning content based on your stated goals, context, and in-app progress.
To generate these outputs, relevant content you provide — such as your goal, onboarding answers, task reflections, and progress signals — is sent to our AI model provider (currently OpenAI) for processing. The provider processes this content on our behalf to return the output; under our provider's API terms, this content is not used to train their models.
These outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your situation. They are provided for productivity and reflection purposes only and are not medical, legal, financial, mental health, or other professional advice.
Your goals are private by default unless you explicitly enable the setting to share goals in the social experience. If you turn that setting on, limited goal-related information — your handle, goal name, goal category, and streak — may become visible to other users within the app's social surfaces, and other users may send you in-app energy. Turning the setting off stops that visibility going forward.
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data under one or more of these bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interests such as product security and reliability, your consent for optional permissions, and compliance with legal obligations.
We use service providers and infrastructure to operate goalmaxxing, including cloud hosting, AI processing (OpenAI), subscription management (RevenueCat), and Apple services (Sign in with Apple, push notifications, and App Store billing), as well as operational tooling. We share data with these providers only as needed to provide the service, comply with law, or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the product. We do not sell personal data.
Your data may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA or UK, when our providers operate internationally. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
We retain account data while your account remains active and for as long as reasonably needed for legitimate business, legal, and security purposes. Guest session data is temporary and may be deleted automatically unless it is merged into an account.
If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated personal data except where limited retention is required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or backup recovery windows.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to certain processing, or request portability of your personal data. You can also delete your account from within the app.
If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO).
goalmaxxing is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
On our website and web endpoints, we may use a small number of functional cookies or similar technologies needed for session integrity, security, and basic product operation. We do not describe the product as relying on advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. Material updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
